"Theresa's Wish" Formerly the Theresa D. Holden Foundation
The intention of 'The Theresa D. Holden Foundation' was to help women with breast cancer satisfy their dreams, by providing the means for them to pursue their education, expand their talents, or fulfill their life-enriching wish without financial burden.
In 2003, the family and friends of Theresa DiSimone Holden (who always believed that life should be lived) founded the Theresa D. Holden Foundation in honor of their "Hero." They felt that a breast cancer diagnosis should not deter any woman from setting goals, or diminish her desire to pursue a lifelong dream.
Theresa may have lost her battle with breast cancer at age 52, but not before fulfilling many of her own “wishes.” The legacy of this brave woman continues today. With the help of Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation, women with stage VI breast cancer can realize their ultimate dreams through "Theresa's Wish Fund."
Wishes do come true and it's all because of people like you!
