Two contributors in the fight against breast cancer The Dearfoams® Company and Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation unite in their efforts to make a difference to the lives of individuals with terminal breast cancer.

The Dearfoams® Company has designated Making Memories as their official 2007 "Pink Ribbon" charity. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each stunning pair of signature slippers will assist Making Memories in providing breast cancer patients with an opportunity to fulfill one final dream. Be on the lookout this Fall, for the "Pink Ribbon" slippers with a very special Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation logo at major retailers nationwide.

Friday, October 26, 2007 has been officially designated, the second annual Dearfoams® National Slipper Day.  Every employer should learn how an event of footwear could make a difference to the world of someone loosing his or her battle with breast cancer. Companies and Corporations are inviting their employees to contribute two-dollars to Making Memories, in exchange for a foot-soothing day in their favorite slippers. What is the Pink Envelope Project? The PEP is a community of committed, dedicated, and imaginative "earth angels" with a passion for reaching beyond themselves, and hosting Pink Envelope fundraising events, to help Making Memories fulfill its mission.

The goal is “To provide an opportunity for metastatic breast cancer patients’ dream or wish to be fulfilled by providing a special time of 'Making Memories' together with their families, a chance that might not have become a reality without the assistance of the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation."

In addition to advancing breast cancer awareness, Making Memories educates the public regarding the vast resources and support available to individuals and families who bear the burden of breast cancer.
